Oh the joy of witnessing something emerge from nothing or something dissolve into nothing - Lisa Adamson

the Artist

Lisa is a self-taught artist who is presently pre-occupied with learning all the rules so she can bend and break them. Therefore her art is exploratory and evolving.

Her earliest memories of creativity dials back to spending time sketching anything as a child. This was reinforced by the gentle nods of teachers, friends and family. It has always been a safe place. She now creates art as a means of reflection and will occasionally incorporate it in her work with women. Therefore her art is flexible and healing.

She loves using arts, craft and storytelling to engage and encourage children in learning. Therefore her art is connection and communication.

Her favourite tools are; Caran d’ache Neocolour II crayons, Windsor Newton watercolors, chunky paint sticks, Sakura pigma pens, Creatology bingo dabbers, Crayola markers and her retro sets of Laurentian and Berol pencil crayons. Therefore her art is varied

That perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the words
And never stops at all.”
